Job Title: Account Executive, IMG Institute

FLSA Status: Exempt

Position Summary:

Positon is responsible for identifying organizations who would benefit from IMG Institute programming, which is aimed at developing a high performance mindset, leadership skills, building championship teams, effective communication and more. In doing so the goal of the position is to drive organizations to the IMG Academy campus for IMG Institute programming and Legacy Hotel accommodations/amenities and be a booking agent for IMG Institute Specialists around the globe.

Specific day-to-day activities will include outbound sales, writing contracts, account management, and project based projects to support the IMG Academy vision and values.This will include the generation of new business, retention of existing business and share consumer insights with the program development team to assist in evolving our programming to meet consumer needs. This position will report into the Sales Leadership team and liaise with the experience team, marketing team, IMG Institute, Legacy Hotel and all divisions on campus.

Position Responsibilities

IMG Institute -

  • Achieve sales targets
  • Create and maintain accurate sales pipeline
  • Facilitate internal communication
  • Tracking contracts from distribution through fulfillment
  • Liaise between other departments
  • Develop and implement procedures to ensure group & team business sales and reconciliation processes are successfully achieved
  • Expertise in sales software (Microsoft CRM) and hotel management system (OPERA); ability to use software to its maximum capability including but not limited to producing reports, data entry, data integrity and data qualification
  • Complete any projects assigned including weekly and monthly reports, data entry, prospect mailings, generation of sales tools, and other outreach functions
  • Prospecting and contacting organizations from around the world
  • Generate awareness through direct phone sales, direct sales calls, tradeshows, networking groups, etc.
  • Negotiate contract specifics to achieve maximum profitability while attaining customer needs.
  • Demonstrate technical selling skills and product knowledge in all areas team and program outreach and execution
  • Demonstrate and deliver positive communication and knowledge of IMG Academy and its programs
  • Create efficiencies and best practices for outreach processes and procedures
  • Support the events and experiences team as needed to fulfill contractual obligations
  • Adhering to all company policies, procedures and business ethic codes
  • Other duties as assigned


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Minimum requirement of Master’s Degree in Business, Sales & Marketing or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working in either corporate or sport environment
  • Previous experience of business development desired
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Passionate about helping others and a desire and passion for growing a new business venture
  • Ability to build strong working relationships with a variety of stakeholders
  • Excellent time management, adaptability, and flexibility
  • Excellent written, verbal presentation, and communication skills with the ability to interface with a variety of audiences
  • Ability to bring business orientation and operational excellence and maintaining a dynamic work environment
  • Highly organized with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced organization
  • A superior work ethic and positive attitude
  • Ability to utilize social media to promote the products
  • Open and responsive to feedback

Physical Demands and Work Environment

  • Ability to lift, move, push, and pull equipment or weights in excess of 40 pounds
  • Ability to handle outdoor temperatures for a reasonable period of time
  • Must be able to move around campus which includes gym, turf, fields, etc.
  • Ability to work flexible hours to include nights, weekends and holidays is required
