Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks

The Senior Manager of Ticket Sales will be responsible for leading the strategy to grow ticket and hospitality revenue through prospecting (networking and cold-calling), presenting, and closing new and renewal ticket/hospitality sales:

o Prospecting: Identify and research new ticketing and hospitality opportunities and ticket sales channels. Contact decision makers within each organization

o Presenting: Create compelling opportunities to engage prospective customers and lead new business/renewal pitches to prospective partners during meetings, potentially in a Boardroom setting, and/or during telephone calls.

o Closing: Negotiate and finalize hospitality agreements that maximize revenue for the Speedway and Raceway

· Develop and spearhead aggressive outbound call strategy and capitalize on the ISC Sales Center resources available to the BU

· Comply with company wide CRM tool for revenue reporting purposes. Meet or exceed weekly/month/yearly corporate ticketing revenue and admission goals and group sales prospecting goals

· Maintain high level of customer service to existing and new customers

· Involvement in renewal process and growth of existing accounts, including targeted outbound campaigns, promotions, and ticket purchaser events

· Develop new and innovative premium hospitality platforms

· Responsible for the development, implementation and growth of the ticket sales department

· Design, implement and execute the overall ticket sales plan and other various ticket sales plans and initiatives

· Proactively communicate to BU Leadership team real-time fan feedback, ticket sales trends, and recommendations on how to proceed and improve to meet business goals.

· Develop creative programs to target specific community and business organizations for ticket purchases

· Work with colleagues from other departments within the organization to ensure that all possible revenue is generated across the various platforms

· Strategic planning of long‐term ticket sales programs and initiatives working in tandem with the Director of Ticketing on analyzing consumer insights and trends

· Remain aware of trends in the industry and marketplace and lead the Business Unit on new initiatives in the ticket sales space

· Develop a research plan to measure and monitor ticket buyer opinions

· Ensure a high level of customer service pre, during, and post race and events

· Represent the team at various community events, such as festivals, sporting events, etc. with the responsibility of informing the community about the track and the various events held at the track, and marketing ticket sales packages and promotions
